After a challenging number of weeks trying to recover from a hacker attack to our blogsite, STANDING OH'S is back! Thanks for your patience during this time.
There were so many thing we wanted to tell you during that time--unfortunately, my IT abilities are limited and after spending too much time trying to fix the old blog, it was time to simply start a new one. We hope you like the format--and although I couldn't recover the old posts, I did manage to hang on to our banner.
I'll be letting you know about rehearsals, auditions, special events, and all the behind-the scenes activity that makes STC the place to be this season!

- Since its inception in 1942, Sacramento Theatre Company has been committed to excellence. We were founded through Sacramento citizens responding to the need to entertain troops in the armed forces during World War II and over the past 67 years we have grown to become one of the most popular regional professional theatres in the country. Today, STC presents public performances of classical and modern plays in two theatres, from September to June, with eight performances a week and more than 300 performances per year. The Mainstage seats 300 patrons. The Pollock Stage is an 85 seat, black box theatre in which theatergoers experience live theatre on the most intimate level. It is our responsibility to create a variety of theatrical experiences for a culturally, generationally and socially diverse audience. We explore works that enrich our lives and offer greater understanding of others and make it a point to research and develop new works. By creating art of a national standard, developing new plays, re-presenting the classics and promoting innovations in all areas of the theatre, the Sacramento Theatre Company is shaping the American theatre experience of our generation.
